Snap2Flip turns item photos into finished marketplace listings and helps resellers run the rest of the business — sales, profit, shipping and buy-side appraisals. Snap2Flip is operated by Mac Masters LLC (“we”, “us”). This page explains what we collect, why, who it goes to, and how to have it deleted. In short: we use your data only to run the service for you, we don’t sell it, and we don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
What we collect
- Your account. Your username and password. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash (scrypt), never as text.
- Your listings. The photos and videos you upload, and the listing text, prices, costs, notes and drafts that go with them. These are stored on our server so you can edit, post, relist and cross-list them later.
- Your eBay connection. When you link eBay, you sign in on eBay’s own page — we never see your eBay password. eBay gives us an access token, which we store encrypted on our server.
- Keys for other services you connect (for example Walmart, Best Buy, Back Market, M360, ShipStation, EasyPost or RepairDesk). Stored encrypted and used only to act on your account with that service.
- Sales, orders and finances. With the matching features turned on, we fetch your orders, sales, fees and payouts from eBay. Orders include the buyer’s name and shipping address so you can ship them. You can also import files such as shipping label history.
- Appraisals (SnapValue). If your store uses SnapValue, it keeps what staff enter about a customer visit: the customer’s name, contact details and ticket number, the devices’ photos and details, and the offer.
- Early-access requests. If you fill in the form on our homepage, we keep your name, email address, what you sell, how much you list and your message, so we can reply.
- Technical data. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, time, browser type) for security and troubleshooting. They are deleted after 14 days.
Cookies and browser storage
We use only the cookies the service needs to work: one that keeps you signed in, and a short-lived one that protects the eBay sign-in. Your browser also stores a few preferences (such as light or dark mode) and unsaved drafts on your own device. There are no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking cookies.
Who we share it with
Only what each service needs to do its job for you:
- Anthropic (the AI): your photos and item details, to write listings and identify items. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
- eBay, and any other marketplace you connect: the listings you choose to post, and the actions you take (such as ending a listing or marking it sold).
- Shipping services you connect (ShipStation, EasyPost): the ship-from and ship-to addresses and package details, when you get rates or buy a label.
- Your point-of-sale system (RepairDesk), if you connect it: for each eBay sale, the buyer’s name, shipping address and phone, the items, prices and order number, to create the invoice in your POS.
- M360, if you connect it: a device’s IMEI or serial number, to fetch its test report.
- Price and photo lookups (CompSniper for sold prices, Brave Search for stock photos): search words such as an item’s name or model. No personal information.
- Marketplaces that download photos from a link (such as OfferUp’s bulk upload): a private link to that listing’s photos only.
Some things never leave our server: photo background removal runs on our own server, and buyers’ Google Sheets price lists are only read, with nothing sent to Google. The service runs on our own server, hosted by Hostinger.
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. We would disclose information only if the law requires it, or to protect the service and its users from fraud or abuse.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete listings and their photos at any time. When an account is deleted, its listings, photos, settings and eBay connection are deleted with it. We keep occasional server backups for recovery, so deleted data can remain in a backup until that backup is removed.
Security and separation
The site runs over HTTPS only. Passwords are hashed, and marketplace tokens and keys are encrypted. Each account is a separate business: one account can’t see another’s listings, sales, customers or connections.
Your choices
- Disconnect eBay or any other service at any time; its token or keys are deleted from our server.
- Download your listings as a spreadsheet from My Listings.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and everything in it.
